Logan Forsythe of the San Diego Padres has been contending with an ongoing case of plantar fasciitis. While Forsythe has tried to avoid surgery, he acknowledges that surgery will be “the only possibility” if he does not heal from a month of immobilization and rest.
Forsythe has received cortisone shots and wears a protective boot to help his foot recover. Forsythe has delivered two RBI singles in victories against the Atlanta Braves and Pittsburgh Pirates.
If you are suffering from plantar fasciitis, it is highly recommended to seek the care of a podiatrist, like Dr. Michael Wynn of Foot Care Associates of Texas, P.A. Dr. Wynnwill examine your heel pain and determine if you have plantar fasciitis before providing the appropriate treatment options.
